I’ve already posted about the joys of the bachelor party over on my forum (click here to read it).

Sunday was spent cutting the crap out of my hands while attempting once again to attain mastery over my furnace. Oh yes… it WILL submit! The good news is: the cooling do-hickey thing-a-ma-jig is now installed on top of the damn thing and boxed in nicely in shiny new 24 gague steel and sealed with aluminum tape (not duct tape).

Now all I need is a whatcha-ma-callit that makes a 90° and connects my cold air return to the gaping maw I cut into the side of the furnace.

I really should be taking pictures and posting them while I do this. I know that several of you would have loved seing images of my hand with blood gushing in spurts from the center of the palm (mental note to self: sheet metal is sharp after you drill pilot holes for the jig saw).

Oh… and Eddie’s friend, Matt, killed a marmot at the golf course on Saturday (well… he thinks he did). It wasn’t on purpose… he tee’d up and wacked a “worm burner” (it flys about 4 inches off the ground at insane speed… no one EVER intends to do this). The rodent kinda got in the way…. and…… *WOOMP!*

Yeah… I took artistic license with the animation… but it’s better that way.
