I finally get to see my neurosurgeon today.

Hopefully he’s had a chance to review my MRI and will have planned a course of action to correct whatever the hell is wrong with me. I’m also gonna ask if they can’t get me on a different painkiller (as this one has the tendency to make me a little emotionally unstable).

If it comes to surgery (which it most likely will), I’m hoping that they can get to it quickly. The novelty of the whole situation is worn off and I’m ready to move on.

In other news: I gave my furnace a test run for heat yesterday (for those of you who don’t read this boring excuse of a website on a regular basis: I’ve been having fun with the furnace for 3 months now). The good news: heat came out. The bad news: It stinks like all hell. I’m hoping that it’s just the dust burning off.
