Ripped from The Adventures of the Accordion Guy:

“This probably won’t last very long, but someone at Netscape Network is using filenames to express his/her unhappiness with Bush’s election. If you go to http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/election2004.jsp?feature=ne_election5, you’ll see a picture of Laura and George Bush. Check its filename…”

One word says it all!

I’m sure someone lost a job.

Ugh… thrusday

I did a sick day yesterday and am feeling it today.

Work is chaos.

Machines to ghost, problems with one of our customers (unable to retrieve data from the DST because the 3rd party software on the machine pukes when there’s 25 hours in a day), revisions to the schema of the database that I’m writing a headend for, a server to install where I’ve recieved absolutely NO information about it (like domain name, IP address, software to be installed, etc.).

Combine that with the fact that I have to leave early today to see my neurosurgeon and you’ve got serious crunch time!

Heh.. I guess it’s business as usual. Kill me.

It’s over

According to CNN, John Kerry just conceded to President Bush.

No long drawn out recount this time. President Bush is actually elected by the people this time.

The first thing that Bush needs to realize is that about half of America doesn’t approve of him. He better re-evaluate his policies and actions from the previous term and do what it takes to win thus said 50% over.

On a side note, this means that Hillary Clinton is now capable of running for the Oval Office in 2008.

Now it’s your turn

Vote with a brain, please! mktks!!

The day is finally here… the day that the unwashed masses stagger into the light and cast their vote so that the electoral college can disregard it with the Supreme Court ‘s approval.

But hey… you gotta do what you gotta do.

I’m ready for the challenge once again. I’ve reviewed the voters guide, read the pro’s and cons (and paid attention to who wrote thus said pro’s and cons) and made my decision. Now I just have to find the polling station and stay awake long enough to vote (damn graveyard shift!).
