I “AM” the law
I’ve lived in Spokane, a two mule olive pit of a town, for 21 years now. Today, for the first time ever, I recieved a summons to report for jury duty.
I’ve often said that I ‘d like to do this, and now I finally get a chance. Knowing Spokane, it’s probobly got something to do with a meth arrest, but it should be interesting just the same.
I’ve been ordered to report on May 2nd at 8am.
I doubt that I’ll make it past the first cut of jury selection, but it should be interesting anyway.
Kayla showed me a pic of Mikee’s cake. Cool I may hire you for birthdays in the future.
1I read the comment about jury duty on meth.—-Hang them. My son looked like he had been in a German concentration camp for quite awhile. Skin and bones, dark sunken eyes and his skin was splotched with picked meth bug marks. Kayla’s pants were even too big for him. (well, uh)
It tore my heart apart just to look at him. And the many times he came home for some help and was high when I would stay up all night with him while he was freaking out about bugs and how people were going to kill him. I took him to the hospital twice because he was sure he was dieing from some disease or couldn’t breathe because someone put powder on his clothes (which they did)I checked it out and it was very toxic. Kayla’s father is also in prison for the third time for making the stuff. Wish they would keep him too. I just started getting child support from him. That $6.00 check sure comes in handy when one of the kids need a pair of $9.99 shoes.
Tony-Just hang them and get it over with. It’s cheaper.
Oh that sounds like it is gonna be fun.
2I don’t have a lot of sympathy for people who commit crimes. There’s right and wrong, and people know the difference. You have to be held accountable for your decisions.
Again, I don’t know that the case is meth related, but that’s a big issue in Spokane, so it’s possible. It could also be a case of someone writing bad checks.
As for the cake decorating thing… um… I decided I’ve just retired from that business 🙂
3You could also get stuck on a civil case involving a neighborhood dispute, an insurance claim gone sour, or some other thing. Hope you get past the cut and get a really juicy criminal case to deal with. I got called last fall and they threw my bod out the door when they found out I was a retired cop. Oh well….. Just hope they don’t kick you out before you get fed lunch. lol
