I just got off the phone with my neurosurgeon’s office.

I had called to verify the date/time of my post-op appointment and found out that I’m not allowed to return to work until “after” this appointment.

Opps!

Either they had mis-spoken earlier, or my wife and I are both idiots. Either way, they were kinda pissed off at me for attempting to return to work last week (an attempt that only lasted 2 and a half days before I decided it was in my best interest to go home). So now it looks like I’m to stay at home until after the 12th of June.

In other news… I finally got my car back. It still less than perfect, but after them having it a full 15 days, the job they did is the best they can do. At least my car was clean this time (inside and out). They didn’t replace the glass where the tinter had scratched it, nor were they able to keep it bubble free, but damn it… I’m tired of waiting on them. I’m chalking this up as a learning experience. I’m also not buying a car from them in the future (and warn others to do the same). This was my second purchase from them and will be my last.

The Matrix – Reloaded was relatively cool. There was a 10 minute sex scene that didn’t add anything to the movie (besides an “R” rating) that they should have cut out, but other than that… it was worth seeing (if you want massive spoilers, may I suggest this?)
